Audrey Ruth Fridrich, age 96, a lifelong resident of Sayville, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024. Audrey was a Sunday school teacher at St. Ann’s Episcopal Church, a member of the Red Hat Society, and volunteered for many years at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. She was a professional wedding cake maker, beautician, and dental assistant as well as an expert homemaker. She was a beautiful person who brought joy to all those who knew her. She loved being with her family, baking, crafting, and going to the beach.
Audrey is survived by her son, William and his wife Eileen of Sayville, her granddaughter Tiare and her husband Ronald of Gainesville, FL, her grandson Bill and his wife Marisa of Saarlouis, Germany, and her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband William.
Private services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, Audrey’s family would appreciate donations to the Red Hat Society in her memory.
