Arlene Frances Brady

Arlene Frances Brady, 71, a resident of Bayport, LI since 1974, died on Monday, January 18, 2021.  Raised in Uniondale, Arlene graduated Uniondale High School in 1967.  She went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree at CW Post and later earned her Master’s Degree at Stony Brook University.  Mrs. Brady was a longtime Art Teacher and coach at Udall Middle School in the West Islip School District. Arlene dedicated every waking moment to her loved ones and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was always looking for ways to give back to the community and improve the lives of those around her. Her passions included boating, volleyball, painting, Harry Potter, and Disney.

 Mrs. Brady is survived by her husband, John, her son John and his wife Leah, three grandchildren, Shannon, Sean, and Ronan, all of Bayport, as well as her sister, Joyce Sullivan of Northport. Arlene is predeceased by her mother and father, Frances and Arthur Mitchell, and her brother Artie.
