Anthony Giannico, 86, of Dix Hills, LI, died on Wednesday, March 4, 2020. Mr. Giannico worked at JFK as Supervisor of Airport Operations for the Port Authority of New York/New Jersey for many years. Anthony served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany where he met his wife, Eva, in 1953. The two married in 1956, returned to the US and settled in the Dix Hills, New York area where they would live for nearly sixty years.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Giannico is survived by his son, Michael and his wife Cynthia of Blue Point, as well as his three grandchildren, Michael, Hannah and Jake.
