In Loving Memory of Angela Fabbricatore
It is with sad hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of our beloved Aunt, Angela Fabbricatore, who departed this world at the remarkable age of 91. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and the indomitable spirit of her Italian-American heritage.
Angela was a force of nature, a woman who lived life to the fullest with a vivacious personality, quick wit and unyielding sense of humor. Whether she was regaling us with tales of days gone by, sharing an inside joke with her nieces and nephews or simply cracking wise to make us all laugh, her presence was like a ray of sunshine that brightened our lives.
Born into a rich tapestry of Italian-American traditions, Angela carried the essence of her heritage with pride. She, along with her parents and brothers, introduced us to the very best of that legacy. From Italian records on the stereo, ravioli at Easter to her beloved Positano, we learned to build our futures while embracing our past. Angela, above all, had in insatiable appetite for life and nothing demonstrated that more than her love of travel. Whether by air, sea or land, we grew up seeing her off at airports, docks and bus terminals. And that enthusiasm was infectious.
Angela was more than just an aunt; she was a confidante, a friend, and a source of unconditional love. Her nurturing spirit and wisdom were a guiding light for her family, and her support was unwavering. She touched the hearts of everyone she met with her kindness and generosity. So as we gather to remember and celebrate her life, let us not dwell on the sadness of her passing, but rather take our example from her and embrace life with zest, an indestructible love of family and, above all … a sense of humor.
