Andrea Lundquist

Andrea Dorothea Lundquist (Sormani) 1942-2025

Died peacefully on Good Friday, April 18, 2025.  She was born on March 23, 1942, in Brooklyn, NY.  Andrea was preceded in death by husbands, Ray Lundquist III and Tom D’Ercole, as well as by her sister Danielle Klaboe.

She is survived by her brother, Gerard Sormani, her sister Suzanne DeNoyior, her three sons, Ray (and wife, Kathleen), Lance (and wife, Jacalyn), Eric (and wife, Milagritos), seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. 

Andrea was a long-time resident of Northport, NY.  She enjoyed a 21-year career as a successful real estate Broker Owner, together with her sister at Century 21 Northern Shores in Huntington, and Century 21 North Shore in Saint James, NY.  The company was recognized for top sales awards on several occasions.

Andrea relished time spent boating and was an officer in the Huntington, NY Yacht Club.  She moved to Jupiter, FL, continued to pursue her love of boating, and became the Port Captain of the Jonathan’s Landing Yacht Club. 

Andrea enthusiastically traveled around the world visiting Africa, Europe, Asia, South America, and Israel where she took the walk of Jesus in the Holy Land.  She loved learning and new experiences and made friends wherever she went. Many were attracted to her optimism and her love of life.  She lit up every room she entered and will be missed by all. 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 31st 10:00 a.m. at St. Philip Neri RC Church 344 Main Street Northport. Followed by interment in the parish cemetery.
