Alan Friedman

Alan Friedman, 84, of West Babylon, passed away on December 24, 2025. Born in Queens, New York to Bernard and Alice Friedman, Alan was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rosemary (d. 2011), father to Eric, Gary (Debbie), Nancy (Philip) and Victoria (Kevin), and grandfather to Jacob, Kayleigh, Emma, Daniel, Gavin, Holly, Alexander, Connor, Thomas, Sophia and Olivia.

A proud Navy veteran, he worked for the Long Island Railroad for 30 years, enjoyed art, photography, cooking, and spending time with his family.

Family and friends may visit Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home at 245 Main Street in West Sayville, NY 11796 on Sunday December 28th from 4-8pm. Funeral Mass to be held on Monday December 29th at 10am at St Lawrence R. C. Church in West Sayville. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
