Adolfo (Al) Vazquez Jr, 92, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025 in Palm Coast, Florida surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on November 1, 1932 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to Adolfo Sr. and Carmen Vazquez. He was the oldest of two children.
Al was predeceased by the love of his life Blanca Vazquez whom he married on January 17, 1951. He was also predeceased by his son Daniel, age 65.
A devoted family man, Al is survived by his son William (and his wife Theresa), his daughter Brenda (and her husband Mike Perry), daughter Susan, his eleven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
A United States Air Force veteran, a retired New York City Police Officer, and Army reservist, he had deep abiding love for our country. He had a love for flying and was always willing to share his knowledge of aviation history.
He was the most selfless, kind, and generous person one could meet. He was always there for his family and community. He was loved by everyone that knew him.
A visitation will be held at Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations, 39 Old Kings Road North, Palm Coast, FL 32137, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and a funeral service will start at 11:00 a.m.
A graveside service will be held on Long Island at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3442 Route 112, Coram, NY 11727, on Wednesday, April 2nd 10:00 a.m.
