Ron and I first met "Aunt" Virginia when we moved to Cape Coral in 1988. I loved her at first sight-she was like me in so many ways-told you like it was! Throughout the years when I had holiday dinners or a BBQ's, Aunt Virginia was always invited. BBQ was normally chicken thighs marinated in Catalina dressing and garlic. She always said "white meat only" and no marinade. I fooled her and Craig's parents for years with them thinking they were getting plain white meat only. At Christmas I always had a little unwrapped gift in front of everyone's plate-she would decide early where she was going to sit and that particular gift was hers. Someone else took her place and wanted that particular gift and Aunt Virginia in no uncertain terms told the other person it was hers. Fortunately I had kept one for myself but gave it to Aunt Virginia. She was the life of the party even when we had a hurricane and she and some of her friends from the park stayed at our house. I have such good memories of Aunt Virginia. Unfortunately we moved to SC in 2004 and I did not get to see her again. Your video is beautiful and many of the pics are the Aunt Virginia I remember. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to her family. We know she is happy to be reunited with her husband and Lorraine as she always talked about them.

Mom always had a way of making her feelings known. Thank You for your kinds words & thoughts. She's finally back with the Love of Her Life & Beautiful Daughter!
