Visiting Hours:  Sunday, December 1st, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at our West Sayville funeral home.

Funeral Service:  Monday, December 2nd at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment to follow at Flushing Cemetery.

Ruth E. Sheridan, 76, of Oakdale, LI, formerly of New Hampshire, died on November 28, 2019. Born and raised in College Point, Queens, Ruth loved to travel.  She worked for many years with Verizon before retiring as a manager.  Ruth was a true patriot.

Ruth is survived by her two brothers, Philip and his wife Carol of New Hampshire and William and his wife Debra of Sayville, as well as eight nieces and nephews, James Sheridan, Janice (Bob) Avellino, Daniel (Joyce) Sheridan, Kelli Hallam, Michael (Lesley) Sheridan, Colleen Sheridan, Sara (Dennis) Pollizotto and Timothy (Rachelle) Sheridan, and many great nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was also a dedicated mother to her beloved pets, Bella and Buddy.
