Preston "Skip" Fielden

Preston “Skip” Fielden passed away at home on Friday, May 11. Born in Dallas, TX, he was raised in TX and attended East Texas University (now Texas A&M Commerce) where he studied and played varsity football. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Navy as a submariner on the USS James Madison. He later had a 28- year career as an administrator and vice principal at Sachem Central School District on Long Island. He was a resident of Sayville for 46 years and is survived by his loving wife and daughter. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-4:30 and 7-9:30, and Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday 10:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence the Martyr RC Church in Sayville. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.
