Joseph A. LoGrasso

Joseph Anthony Lo Grasso, 73, formerly of West Islip, NY passed away in Fayetteville, NC on Wednesday, October 9, 2019. Raised in Woodhaven, NY, until the family moved to West Islip in 1962, he graduated from West Islip High School in 1963. Attended C.W. Post College, graduating with a Bachelors of Arts. Joseph served in both the United States Army as an enlistee and the United States Air Force as an officer with the rank of Captain. He became a father late in life and spent much of his time raising his two children. His main hobby was photography, taking pictures at all family events, holidays, and sporting events. 

Joseph is survived by his children, Julian Lo Grasso and Julianne Lo Grasso of Waldorf, MD, as well as his siblings Ralph, Robert, Linda, and Patricia.

Visiting Hours:  Wednesday, October 16th, 7-9:30 p.m. at our West Sayville funeral home.

Funeral Mass:  Thursday, October 17th, 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence RC Church, Sayville.

Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
