John D. Roberts

John D. Roberts, 89, of Blue Point, L.I., passed away on Thursday January 4th, 2018 at his home.  A longtime resident of the Bayport-Blue Point area, John worked at Grumman before becoming a court clerk at Riverhead Supreme court where he worked for many years.

            John is survived by his five daughters Dona, Gail, Jill (Bruce) Silber, Lane (Donald) Kadlec and Greer; his 8 grandchildren; David, Justin, Tara, Dana, Zachary, Cole, Jack and Chais; his 4 great-grandchildren  Alexander, Devon, Maddox and Anabelle. John was pre-deceased by his wife Ann Marie and his daughter Teri Roberts Morace.

            Friends and relatives will gather Friday, January 12th, 6-9:30 p.m. and Saturday 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home 683 Montauk Hwy Bayport, NY 11705.  Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday January 13th at 11:30 a.m. followed by funeral procession to the Blue Point Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in John’s memory to the Humane Society of New York 306 E 59th street New York, NY 10022.
