Joachim T. Calabrese

Joachim Theodore Calabrese, 71, of Bayport, Long Island, passed away on October 9, 2019.  After growing up in Brooklyn and Amityville, Joachim worked his entire career as a teacher and administrator in the Copiague School District.  He spent his life connecting with people.  He was a doer, a giver, a loyal husband, father and friend, and lifelong Dodgers fan.  He was and will continue to be a giant presence in the lives of countless people.

Joachim is survived by his wife, Miriam, his three children, Aimee, Renee and Matthew, as well as their families, including four grandchildren.

Memorial Visitation - Sunday October 13th, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at our West Sayville location, 245 Montauk Hwy. West Sayville, NY

Eulogy Service - 8:00 p.m. Sunday October 13th at the funeral home.
