Funeral Mass:  Wednesday, December 4th, 9:45 a.m. at St. John Nepomucene RC Church, Bohemia.

Interment to follow in the parish cemetery.

Grace M. Kittel, 80, of Oakdale, LI, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, November 30, 2019.  Raised in Baldwin, Grace graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and went on to earn a degree in Chemistry at SUNY Farmingdale.  Mrs. Kittel worked as a chemical researcher at Hillside Hospital for several years before leaving to raise her four children.  Grace was an active member at St. John Nepomucene RC Church in Bohemia where she was a member of their social ministry.  She was also an avid gardener.

Mrs. Kittel is survived by her husband of sixty years, Russel, her four children, Russel III and his wife Jeanne of Oakdale, Trish Kelly and her husband Tim of Vero Beach, FL, Karen LeRette and her husband Kevin of Tampa, FL and Chris and his wife Jenn of Bay Shore, her thirteen grandchilden, Kevin (Chelsea), Ashleigh, Kendall, Erin Grace, Katherine (Richard), Patrick, Carly, Matthew, Thomas Jack, Grace, Ellen Grace, Claire and Christopher, her great-granddaughter, Payton Grace, as well as her sister, Lucille Dunn and her husband Jim.

In lieu of flowers, contributions made to St. John's Parish Outreach, 1140 Locust Avenue, Bohemia, New York 11716, are appreciated by the family.
