Gloria Nicola

Gloria Nicola, age 74 of Sayville, NY died suddenly on July 19, 2017.  Gloria, born in Rhinelander, WI. received a Masters degree in English Literature from the University of Wisconsin.  She taught English in high school and junior college before moving to NJ.  She then worked in book publishing for Ballantine Books and Random House before joining Ziff Davis to edit hotel and travel directories. She then joined Jobson Publications and became a Senior Editor of 20/20 Magazine, focusing on eyewear trends and design over a 27 year career. Her coverage of eyewear designers and products was widely read. She is survived by her husband Franklin. Private cremation.
