Visiting Hours:  Tuesday, January 14th, 7-9:30 p.m. and Wednesday, January 15th, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at our West Sayville funeral home.

Funeral Mass:  Thursday, January 16th, 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence RC Church, Sayville.

Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton. 

Eric Anthony Detelj, 32, of Sayville, LI, died on January 10, 2020.  A lifelong resident of the Sayville area, Eric graduated from Connetquot High School in 2005 and entered the US Army.  He served in the Army for two years, including a year in Iraq, before he was honorably discharged in 2007.

Eric is survived by his wife, Jessica, by his parents, Tina and Dan of Sayville, his siblings, Kelly Lopez and her husband Robert of Ronkonkoma, Keith of Milton, NY and Gregory of Sayville, his niece and nephew, Declynn and Finnegan Lopez, his in-laws, Christopher and Angela Iannello of Bohemia, his brother-in-law, Michael Iannello, as well as his loyal pets, Oliver and Delilah.
