This past week, I have had an overwhelming desire to contact Joe Verdone. I must have known Joe died in 2017, but I guess I have forgotten. It's too late now, but I would like to say Joe, you meant the world to me. I wasn't the best coach you could have hired, but we got along well and I really enjoyed working for you. Janine & Jim, your father treated me with more respect than I deserved, and I'm so sorry for your loss. He was a good guy. A man's man. I miss him.

Joe and I were roommates way back when at Oswego. I always thought he was a terrific guy. Sad to lose him... I always appreciated him visiting me at the St Albans
