Doris F. Van Hulsentop

Doris F. Van Hulsentop, 88, Sayville, died on October 16, 2017.  A lifelong resident of the Sayville area, Mrs. Van Hulsentop was a longtime member of the West Sayville Fire Department’s Ladies’ Auxiliary and volunteered for years at St. Ann’s Thrift Shop in Sayville. 

Mrs. Van Hulsentop is survived by her two children, Wendy Van Hulsentop (Martine Guez) of Holbrook and Robert Van Hulsentop (Eileen) of West Sayville, her three grandchildren Melissa Kershner (Cody), Diane Brown (Ryan) and Katie Van Hulsentop, as well as her great-grandchildren, Kyleigh, Tanner, Miles, Harper and Ike.  She was predeceased by her husband Cornelius in 1977.

Friends and relatives will gather on Wednesday, October 18th, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville where a religious service will be held on Thursday, October 19th at 10 a.m.  Interment will follow in Sayville Union Cemetery.
