Clarence "Bud" Hoek, Jr.

Clarence “Bud” Hoek, Jr., 88, of Sayville, died on Friday, August 4, 2017.  A lifelong resident of the West Sayville area, Mr. Hoek was a life member of the West Sayville Volunteer Fire Department and Captain of the Fire Police, the Suffolk County Volunteers, former President of the Islip Town Fire Police Association, Islip Town Volunteers, as well as a member of the Sayville United Methodist Church.

Mr. Hoek is survived by his five children, Susan Rotundo and her husband Anthony of Sayville, Sally Meade and her husband William of Ronkonkoma, Steven and his fiancee Kathy Ryan of East Setauket, Stanley and his wife Cathy of Ronkonkoma and Stuart and his wife Colleen of Bohemia, as well as his ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and by his sister-in-law, Carmela Hoek of Sayville.  Clarence was predeceased by his brother Robert in 2016.

Friends and relatives will gather on Sunday, August 6th, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, West Sayville.  A religious service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 7th at Sayville United Methodist Church and interment will follow in Sayville Union Cemetery.
