Christine C. Scimone

Christine Scimone (“Chrissy”) passed away on August 31, 2017 in Middle Island, New York at the age of 34. 

Chrissy was born on January 25, 1983 to Joseph and Mary Scimone in Smithtown, New York.  She spent her childhood primarily on Long Island and in Westchester.  She graduated from Commack High School and went on to earn her associates degree in Nursing at Suffolk County Community College on Long Island.

With an open and caring spirit, Chrissy made a lasting impression on just about everyone she met.  Chrissy formed deep, personal connections and was a true and loyal friend.  Her bubbly charm and caring nature were felt by everyone in her orbit – her family, friends, and even the customers she served day-to-day as a waitress.  Chrissy enjoyed making people laugh and did so often with her lively character and quick wit.  

The love of Chrissy’s life was her son, Jonathan Jr. (“JJ”).  As his mother, she found purpose, strength and unspeakable joy. 

Chrissy is survived by her son Jonathan Robert Stanley Jr. and his father Jonathan, her father Joseph Scimone and his wife Judith, and her sister Bridgett Ross.

Chrissy is preceded in death by her mother, Mary. Chrissy's loved ones invite family and friends to join us as we remember her life. Visitation will be held at Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home 245 Montauk Hwy. West Sayville, Thursday September 7th, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. A religious service will be held 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home.

Chrissy will remain in the hearts of many others who will forever love and cherish her memory.
