Charles Ruizi

Charles Ruizi, 93, a 36 year resident of Blue Point, died on Sunday, October 1, 2017.  Mr. Ruizi was a US Army veteran that served during World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War.  He was also a longtime, active member and Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of the Snow RC Church in Blue Point and administered Eucharist to many shut-ins and elderly in the area.

Mr. Ruizi is survived by his wife, June, children, Terry Grady and her husband Chris of Richmond, Virginia, Chet Bedell and his wife Mary of Melville and Jean Bailey and her husband Russ of Setauket, grandchildren, Maureen, Christopher, Alexander, Sabrina, Michael and Scott, as well as his sisters-in-law, Joan and Joyce.

Friends and relatives will gather at Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home in Bayport on Thursday, October 5th, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:45 a.m. on Friday, October 6th at Our Lady of the Snow RC Church and interment will follow in Queen of All Saints Cemetery in Central Islip.
