Annette C. Kennedy

Annette Kennedy, 97, formerly of Dix Hills, NY, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019. A graduate of Richmond Hill HS and a lifelong artist, her first job was drawing “nuts and bolts” for a hardware brochure. Her attention to detail soon landed her a position in the accounting department of American Airlines, where she worked for over 30 years, ending her career in the depreciation section calculating the value of every asset of AA. A longtime member of the Hollow Hills Ladies Golf League, she enjoyed designing unique posters for league events. Beloved wife of the late William Kennedy, a past president of the printing pressmen’s union. Loving aunt of Carol Hughes (Kevin), Maureen Ruth (Robert), Katherine Long (late Paul Rodriguez) and Mary Farber (William). Dear grandaunt of Robert, Courtney, Brian, Morgan, Ashley, Trevor, Nicole, Lindsey and Christian and great grandaunt of 11. Annette never failed to recognize a birth, birthday, wedding, anniversary, graduation or any other family event. Funeral mass Friday, November 22, 2019 at 11:00am St. John Nepomucene Roman Catholic Church, Bohemia, NY. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery
