Andrew G. Karlson

Andrew G. Karlson, 85, a resident of Patchogue, LI for nearly forty years, died on August 23, 2019.  Born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts, Mr. Karlson served in the US Marines during the Korean War.  He worked for many years with Allied Signal in Ronkonkoma.

Mr. Karlson is survived by his longtime companion, Barbara Oroza, his four daughters, Jill Forstell and her husband Dennis of Patchogue, Joy Walsh and her husband Joseph of Vermont, Jaye Shore of Georgia and Jodi Schaefer and her husband Alan of Islip, his fourteen grandchildren, as well as his siblings, Donna Grief and her husband Arthur and Peter Karlson and his wife Danielle.  He was predeceased by his brothers, Michael and Jeffrey Karlson.

Friends and relatives will gather for a Memorial Service on Saturday, October 26that 1 p.m. at Islip United Methodist Church.
