Agnes O’Gara a resident of Sayville and County Galway, Ireland, passed away on May 19, 2019 at the age of 97. Agnes was one of 12 siblings and immigrated to the United States in 1949. She was a member of the Irish American Club, as well as the Cosmopolitan Club, where she and her husband would dance the night away.

Agnes is survived by her children Larwrence and his wife Sharon, Kathleen and her husband Nicholas Wartella, sons Robert and William and his wife Marygrace. She is also survived by her grandson Taylor Cook and  her great granddaughter Devin D’Ammora.  In addition, she is survived by her sisters Delia and Edward McKenna, and Ita Sheil, and her sisters-in-law Elizabeth Flaherty and Doris O’Gara Jakobs. She is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Charles.
