Join Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Homes and The Sayville Inn for the second annual Sangria Salute, a benefit for the LT Michael P. Murphy Navy SEAL Museum on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, from 5-9 p.m. at The Sayville Inn, 199 Middle Road, Sayville, NY.

For a suggested donation of $50, please join us for an open bar and appetizers to support this great cause. 100 percent of the money collected will go directly to the museum. RSVP is requested by Friday, October 20th. Your donation is your RSVP; please state your name with your donation so we can check you in at the door.

“We started this event last year to support this incredible asset here in our community, the LT Michael P. Murphy Navy SEAL Museum, which officially opened in 2022. I approached Chuck Cabrera, owner of the Sayville Inn, to see how we could put together a fun night to support the museum and honor the Murphy family. Last year’s event raised over $10,000 for the museum and we look forward to another successful night,” said Rich D’Andrea of Raynor and D’Andrea Funeral Homes.

The museum and education center, located in West Sayville, New York on the south shore of Long Island, helps make connections between visitors and the SEAL community. Visitors gain a better understanding of the meaning and price of freedom, and appreciation for what it means to put service above self. Throughout the museum, visitors have multiple opportunities to meet, interact with, and learn about the SEAL community through films, videos, and exhibits that honor and promote the ideals and values associated with our Special Warfare Operators.

“The fundraiser, to me, is to remind people about the sacrifices that many men and women have made to keep us safe and that we should be very thankful for their sacrifices,” said Chuck Cabrera, Owner of the Sayville Inn.
