James "Happy" Farnan

James “Happy” Farnan, 69, of Stroudsburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 16th , 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Husband of Marie Farnan, for 39 years, father of James Farnan IV. Jim was born in Long Island, New York, on October 18, 1954 to James Farnan and Teresa Farnan. Jim was one of a kind. A loving, caring, husband, father and friend. He loved hunting, fishing and watching the New York Jets play every Sunday. He always had a joke or one liner ready and loved bringing a smile or laugh to everyone’s face. A viewing will be held Thursday April 25 at Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home from 12 p.m.-2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.-7:30 p.m. (401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg, PA). Mass will be at Most Holy Trinity Parish 236 PA-Route 390 Cresco PA 18326 on Friday

Family will receive visitors on Sunday April 28th  3 - 7 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home 245 Main Street, West Sayville, NY 11796. Interment will be Monday, April 29th  11:00 a.m. at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton.
