Angelo Joseph Giarrusso, 73, passed away peacefully on Monday April 22nd. Angelo was born on August 18th, 1950, to Nicholas and Josephine Giarrusso in Queens, NY. He spent his youth growing up on Roderick Road in West Islip, NY. In 1971, Angelo started his business, E&T Auto Repair, from his parent’s garage, kickstarting a successful 50+ year career.
In 1974, he met his wife, Mary. Angelo and Mary went on to spend a wonderful 46 years together, having two children, Nicholas and Kristin. In early 2022, Angelo retired from E&T Auto Repair, spending the remainder of his life enjoying his family.
Angelo’s interests were varied, but his love of high-fidelity audio was his life-long passion. In addition to being a dedicated audiophile, Angelo’s love for sports, music, and craftsmanship were among his many interests.
Angelo was predeceased by his mother, father, and sister, Anna. He is survived by his wife, two children, sister, Theresa, son-in-law, Kyle, daughter-in-law, Janina, and three grandchildren, Summer, Conor, and Santino.
Angelo was a smart, loyal, and caring man who throughout his life did everything within his power to help support his family and friends in countless ways. His loss will be felt by many, and he will be dearly missed.
