Robert J. Nadaskay, a resident of Blue Point since 1972, passed away on June 16, 2016 at the age of 72.
He will be remembered by many for his impeccable craftsmanship as a woodworker who brought multitudes of people joy with his custom cabinetry, generosity, and infectious sense of humor. And he may be remembered by some as an expert whistler, stray cat magnet, and fisherman, prone to exaggeration.
He is survived by his wife Janet, and his children Jason, of New Paltz, and Amy J. Nadaskay, and her husband Eran Thomson, of Australia.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Raynor & D’Andrea, where a cremation was held privately. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
