It was just a month before he passed that Matt and I attended the Jets/ Tampa game down here in Tampa. Despite the Jets loss, we had a great time. Matt spoke of how well he was doing with his job, his imminent promotion, and how life was serving him well. I was so glad to hear him doing well and was looking forward to the next time I got to see him. I was devastated to hear of his passing. He left us waaayyyy too soon. Maybe one day, we will see him again...
