Schrader, Marie M., June 7, 1923 - July 15, 2016. Loving wife of Andrew T. Schrader. Beloved mother of Wanda (Robert) Callis, Thomas (Sharon) Schrader, Kathy (Joseph) Slodysko. Cherished grandmother of John (Suzanne), Susan (Melissa), Dorothy (the late David) Deutsch, Christian (Jennifer) Schrader, Brian (Sandra), the late Carl Slodysko. Great grandmother to Taylor, Stephen Callis, Andrew, Ethan Deutsch, Emma, Colson Schrader, Jade, Holly Slodysko, and Alayna Pavao. Marie worked 30 years for New York Tell, “Mabell” as an operator and infield instructor. Very active pioneer in New York, Green Valley, and Tucson Arizona. Plus, Lions, Rotary, Road Runners, Saint Andrea Church, Children’s Clinic, and President Green Valley Pioneers. In 1995, received the Robert K. Timothy Award- Medal of Distinction for her many accomplishments. Reposing Sunday 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home, 245 Main St. West Sayville. Funeral Service Monday 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow Calverton National Cemetery.
