John E. Neugebauer

John E. Neugebauer, 92, of Sayville, LI, died on Sunday, December 4, 2016.  A longtime resident of Sayville, Mr. Neugebauer owned and operated John Neugebauer Plumbing and Heating.  He proudly served in the US Navy during WWII and 40 years in the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. 

Mr. Neugebauer was predeceased by his wife Marie in 2011.  He is survived by his four sons, Ronald and his wife Sarah of Maryland and Stephen and his wife Nancy, Robert and his wife Margaret and Joseph and his wife Diane, all of Sayville, nine grandchildren, Elise, Martha Ann, Andrea, Lee, Rachel, Rebecca, Robert, Eric and Daniel, as well as seven great-grandchildren, Jackson, Luke, Chase, Graham, Brittany, Macklin and Graden.

Friends and relatives will gather on Friday, December 9th, 7-9:30 p.m. at Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 10th at 9:45 a.m. at St. John Nepomucene RC Church in Bohemia.  Interment will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery in Sayville.
