Burke-John P., age 97, of West Sayville, on May 25, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Marie. Loving father of Catherine Gibney (Edward), Patricia Fusco (William) and John S. (Maryann).  Cherished grandfather of Edward J., Michael, Stephanie, Christopher, Gina Marie and John Patrick and great grandfather of Cecilia-Anne and Logan. Proud WWII Veteran and past post Commander of the Sayville VFW. Reposing Friday, May 27th  from 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home, 245 Main St. West Sayville. Funeral Mass Saturday, 9:45 a.m. at St. Lawrence RC Church followed by interment in the parish cemetery.
