George J. "Buddy" Purce, Sr.

Visitation- Monday August 21st 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 p.m. at our West Sayville location (245 Montauk Hwy West Sayville, NY 11796)

Funeral Mass- Tuesday August 22nd at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snow RC Church in Blue Point.

Interment to follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery in Sayville. (Located on Lakeland Avenue 1/4 mile south of Sunrise).

George J. “Buddy” Purce, Sr., 96 of Blue Point, died on Thursday, August 17, 2017. George was pre-deceased by his wife Frances.  He is survived by his four children, Mary Alice Byrnes of Bayport, George “Buddy”, Jr. of Patchogue, Michael and his wife Donna of Patchogue, Barbara Hahn and husband Rich of Bayport, his seven grandchildren, Kristen (Chris) Barnes, Michael (Andrea), Richard Hahn, Erin Purce, Shannon Purce, Kevin Purce, Janine Purce, his greatgrandchildren Dylan and Caden, Siblings Marie O’Neil, Regina Hackett, Joseph Purce, Sr, as well as many nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by by his sister Catherine White. Friends and relatives gathered for a celebration of George’s life on Monday, August 21st, 2017, at Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville, New York. A funeral mass was held at Our Lady of the Snow RC Church in Blue Point followed by interment at St. Lawrence Cemetery in Sayville.  For more information visit www.raynordandrea.com.
