Visiting Hours:  Thursday, December 14th, 7-9:30 p.m. and Friday, December 15th, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at our Bayport funeral home.

Funeral Mass:  Saturday, December 16th, 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snow RC Church, 175 Blue Point Avenue, Blue Point.

Interment:  Sayville Union Cemetery.

Dolores Rohm Hillenbrand, 87, of Bayport, LI, died on Sunday, December 10, 2017.  Raised in Queens, Dolores has been in Bayport since 1951.  She was a longtime and active member of the Bayport Fire Department Ladies Auxilary, Our Lady of Snow RC Church in Blue Point where she also volunteered in their parish outreach, the local ladies golf league, the Bayport-Blue Point Homemakers’ Club and a longtime volunteer at the thrift shop at the Bayport United Methodist Church.  Mrs. Hillenbrand also worked for many years as a secretary in the Bayport-Blue Point Schools District.

Predeceased by her first husband, William Rohm in 1987 and by her second husband, Jack Hillenbrand in 2008, Mrs. Hillenbrand is survived by her three children, Diane Faile and her husband Robert of Ohio, Deborah McInerney and her husband FX of Patchogue and Thomas Rohm of New Hampshire, as well as Jack’s children, Linda O’Neill-Reinhardt and her husband Marion of Bayport, Gail Hillenbrand of West Sayville, Patti Hillenbrand of Florida, Janet Behan and her husband Brian of Florida and John Hillenbrand and his wife Josephine of Bayport.  She was also predeceased by Jack’s son Donald.  Also surviving are her 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
